 Some examples:

·               Starting your own business

·               Making department manager

·               Finishing a college degree

·               Training for a new career

In this series of articles we will walk you through the process of setting your goals and developing a career plan.

Most of us aspire to some career goals, but how many of us take the time to actually write them down? The problem usually is “Where do I start?” The answer is simple:

STEP 1:

1.)    Take some time to sit down and think about what you want in life? List ALL the things you hope to accomplish in your career. (Brainstorm anything and everything, list all that you can think of – you can rule things out later)

2.)    Then prioritize them, what is most important? Ranking by number might be helpful.

3.)    Give yourself time to think them through. Doing some research might be helpful, What type of education is necessary? What are the salaries for certain careers?
